The Old
Rectory was built in 1912 & is in the hands of the Catholic
Archdiocese of Sydney. The word Rectory is a English term- which
a priest is called a "rector"
and where he lives is a "rectory".
"Old Rectory" was
established as an accommodation business in 2000, our guests are
from all sorts of background and different countries. Because of
the short distance to Sydney airport and the city centre, Old
Rectory becomes a popular stop over place for the travellers who
need to change within international and domestic airport. In
this modest yet historic house, there is a communal kitchen and
grassy lawn which provide homey atmosphere and attracts lots of
long term guests during busy tourist seasons.
